                NIH CONSENSUS CONFERENCE

As reported in Journal of American Medical Association
                               1998: 280, pgs 1518-1524

This was the article that got it all started for Dr. Broome, as his interest in
    acupuncture was
validified by the NIH Conference. The conference consensus
was that acupuncture as a whole
deserved attention by the 'Western' medical
establishment.  Dr. Broome began his training in
acupuncture shortly after this
    report came out  in 1998.
